About ASW Therapy
My name is Adrianna and I am a registered Mental Health Nurse accountable to The Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
I specialise in supporting Children and Young people who are struggling with a range of mental health difficulties including anxiety, low mood/depression, emotional dysregulation and low self-esteem/confidence and have worked in Children and Adolescence Mental Health Services (CAMHS) for over 10 years.
I have experience working in alternative provision settings supporting
children and young people with neurodiversity and mental health
difficulties who find the mainstream educational setting overwhelming.I also offer support and guidance for parents/carers who want to
better understand their child’s emotional well-being needs and offer
support in navigating any challenges that may arise both at home
and within the education setting. My therapeutic style is warm, calming and reassuring focusing on a person-centred approach to build a therapeutic relationship tailored to your individual needs. I use skills from Solution Focus Therapy and Compassion Focus Therapy to gently explore challenges at your own pace, to collaboratively make sense of your feelings and find ways to move forward in a way that is comfortable to you.
